How people under different modes conceive God.
Why do some people fear God, others approach Him for favors, and still others experience devotion as love?
In the Mode of Ignorance: God is perceived as a fearsome ruler. People view God as someone to be appeased to avoid punishment, focusing on staying on His good side to escape retribution.
In the Mode of Passion: God is seen as a desire fulfiller. Individuals view God as a means to obtain their personal desires and might engage in prayers or rituals to persuade or manipulate Him for their gain.
In the Mode of Goodness: God is understood as a benevolent provider. People in this mode recognize the blessings received and feel a sense of duty to worship and express gratitude to God.
Beyond Goodness: God is regarded as the supreme object of love. In this state, God is seen as the ultimate source of eternal fulfillment, where all desires can be fully realized in a loving and divine relationship.
